Straight From The Heart - Message to Encourage Parents

As Christian parents we do our best to train up our children according to the word of God. Our children, just like we did when we were young, make decisions and choices that are not what we planned for them.

Proverbs 11:21b

...but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. 

Our righteousness is not based on our works but our faith in the redemptive work of Christ.  This promise to Christian parents is not one that says our children will not make mistakes; what it does promise is their deliverance from them. Parents I want to encourage you to love your children unconditionally. The bible promises that "love never fails" 1 Corinthians 13:8. Also stand on the promise in Proverbs 11:21 that what they may get in our God will deliver them out!
